1. Who we are

This site is operated by BETABAT sarl — a General Contractor registered under the laws of Lebanon — from its registered office at Jisr-el-Bacha main road, UCA building, Hazmieh, Lebanon. For anything in this policy you can reach us at info@betabat.com or +961-5-452401.

2. What we collect

Most of the site is browsable without giving us any personal information. We only receive data when you choose to send it. The forms on this site collect:

• Contact form — your name, email, optional phone number, subject and message.
• Careers application form — your name, email, optional phone, the role you are applying for, your years of experience, the cover-letter text and the CV file you choose to upload.
• Technical data — your browser type, language, IP address and the pages you visit. This is the same standard server-log data any website receives.

We do not ask for, and do not knowingly process, special-category data (such as health, ethnicity or political opinions). Please do not include such information in form messages.

3. How we use it

The information you submit is used only to:

• reply to your enquiry or evaluate your job application,
• operate, secure and improve the website,
• comply with legal obligations (for example, responding to lawful requests from authorities).

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Cookies & analytics

The site uses a small number of strictly-necessary cookies to remember things like whether you have closed the cookie banner or what language you have chosen. It may also use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits, find broken pages and understand what content is useful. The analytics provider only sees aggregated, non-identifying information — never your name or email.

You can clear cookies at any time from your browser settings. Doing so will not break the site.

5. Third parties

To make the site work, a few third-party services are loaded by your browser:

• Google Fonts — for the Inter, Barlow Condensed and Playfair Display web fonts.
• OpenStreetMap — for the map embedded on the Contact page.
• Hosting provider — keeps standard server logs.

Each of these has its own privacy policy. They never receive the contents of your form submissions.

6. How long we keep it

Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry, and then archived in our internal mailbox in line with normal business practice. Careers applications are kept for up to 12 months unless we agree with you a longer period — useful if a relevant position opens later. Server logs are kept for a short rolling period for security and troubleshooting.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you,
• correct anything that is wrong,
• delete your personal information when we no longer need it,
• stop processing it for a particular purpose.

To exercise any of these rights, write to info@betabat.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are in a jurisdiction with specific privacy laws (such as GDPR), you also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
